Overview

Escape the hustle and bustle of the city as you enjoy a scenic and comfortable 1-hour drive towards Luján.

The first stop of the day will be at theNeo-Gothic Basilica of Luján built in 1937 in honor of Our Lady of Luján, Patroness of Argentina. Its incredible architectural beauty makes it one of South America's most important Basilicas. In addition, the devotion of the people by the miraculous Virgin Mary makes more than six million people every year pilgrimage to Lujan as an act of faith.

Afterwards, head over to Zoo Lujan where you will get close to animals and nature as you explore the magic of the zoo at your own pace. Why not stop by one of the zookeeper talks, where you will listen to information about the magnificent species that call the zoo their home and learn about the main characteristics of these animals and the protectionist actions the zoo takes with these species. The park has adapted habitats for a wide variety of animals of different species such as lions, tigers, cougars, Asian elephants, dromedaries, monkeys, sea lions, toucans, macaws, red deer, carpincho, axis, antelopes, llamas, foxes, brown bears, flamingo, guacamayo, and many many more.

For the little ones, there are special areas with farm animals like rabbits, chickens, goats, and calves, among others, and the help of park staff, the children will receive basic information about these animals and learn the rules of how to interact with them. Kids can ride ponies, visit an antique tractor exhibition, and even play in a wonderful playground.

After this great experience, in the afternoon you will return to Buenos Aires by bus, with memories to last a lifetime!
