Itinerary

Meet your guide at the scheduled time at the meeting point. You will be driven from Barcelona to Montserrat, heading straight to the famous Benedictine monastery. The Santa Maria de Montserrat remains the holiest Catholic shrine in Catalonia. Take in the picturesque views as you make your way to the monastery, halfway up the mountain. Your guide will give share the history of the monastery and you can take pictures from outside.

See the famous sanctuary and the holy cave and experience the tranquillity that Montserrat is known for. You can also climb to the top of the Cavall Bernat and enjoy panoramic views of the area at 3000 feet above sea level.

You will next visit one of the most important and beautiful wineries in the region, the Oller del Mas cellars. The cellars are located within a picturesque medieval castle, spread across a thousand acres. Tuck into a sumptuous lunch taken from an exquisite regional menu and paired with locally-produced wines in the clubhouse restaurant. After lunch, you will be taken on a walking tour of the cellar and introduced to an assortment of wines by expert enologists.

Learn about the wine making process and enjoy an engaging wine-tasting experience where you will taste three of the cellar’s finest wines. After the tour, you will be driven back to Barcelona.
