You can also upgrade your tour to add a camel ride at the Uluru Camel Farm before heading for the sunset and Field of Light Experience.

Walk into the work and see the handcrafted bulbs light up the vast arid land – an experience that will truly inspire!

Itinerary

Depart from your hotel in Uluru Resort to a remote desert location that overlooks a vast field and the spectacular monolith of Uluru. If you have chosen the camel ride option, you will first be taken to an Uluru camel farm.

Climb on a camel’s back and pad peacefully through the desert sands around Uluru. Enjoy the beauty of the surroundings while your experienced cameleer describes the unique flora and fauna of the landscape. After meandering for an hour, you will head further into the desert to see the sunset over Uluru and your Field of Light experience.

You will reach the site just in time to watch the sunset over Uluru. See the changing colours of the large monolith, from a dull brown to sun-kissed ochre, and gradually thrown into a silhouette.

As Uluru goes into darkness, you will see the tiny lights illuminating the field in front of the monolith. See the red desert come to life as a stunning display of sea of stars light up the outback under the starry sky.

As darkness falls and the 50,000 tiny light bulbs sparkle in the field, you’ll be seated at your table and savour a scrumptious three-course bush tucker-inspired dinner menu. Your dinner consists of a delectable palate of canapes, entrée, salads, seafood, main course, condiments and desserts.
