Tuck into a lovely dinner cooked over the open fire and enjoy campfire stories while gazing at the twinkling stars in the night sky. Retire for a good night’s rest at the private campsite before another action-packed day.
Day 2:
Start the day early with the truly unforgettable experience of watching the sun rise over Uluru. Head to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas), a short drive from the campsite. In the local Aboriginal language, Kata Tjuta roughly translates to "heads many". Characterised by its 36 steep-sided domes, Kata Tjuta’s rock domes extend 6 kms into the ground. The site today is what remains following the erosion that began more than 500 million years ago.
Embark on a challenging hike to the Valley of the Winds and walk through creek beds, domes and beautiful wilderness. Enjoy lunch before heading to Kings Creek Station to spend the night at the private camp.
Day 3:
You will be exploring the Watarrka (Kings Canyon) National Park, the site that holds a mighty crevasse with sheer red rock faces which soar over 100 metres above lush palm forests. Walk around the Kings Canyon rim and visit the Amphitheatre, Lost City and tranquil Garden of Eden.
After lunch, head to the iconic outback town of Alice Springs, arriving in the early evening. Visit Anzac Hill for a panoramic view of The Alice', providing a great opportunity to really see the oasis in the desert.
You will be put up in hostel accommodation for the night. Choose between a dormitory and a double room. You can wash your dirty clothes before enjoying the charming nightlife in this Outback town.
Day 4:
The day starts early with a breakfast and then a drive back to Ayers Rock. With a brief stop along the way, you will be dropped off to the airport or the resort before bidding adieu to this marvellous place.
