Visit France’s second largest city and enjoy the unparalleled natural beauty of Provence’s countryside on a Marseille & Cassis Half-Day Tour!

With your Marseille & Cassis Day Trip tickets, you’ll start out from Aix-en-Provence.  When you arrive at Marseille, you’ll see it’s a busy port city with lots of places to see, like the Old Port or the oldest part of Marseille:  Le Panier.  Visit Notre-Dame de la Garde, from where you can get 360° panoramic views of Marseille.  Then, see La Vielle Charité and the Cathedral La Major, too.  Next, enjoy a free walking tour of the new museum in Marseille, the Mucem, and the Villa Mediterrannée.  You can also walk right up to the Fort Saint John, a pet project of Louis XIV.  It’s what to do in France!

Then, discover Cassis, a little gem that is situated on the French coastline.  The cliffs of Cassis are on the UNESCO’s World Heritage list for their rugged limestone formations and the beautiful turquoise waters, below.  You’ll get time to explore the village of Cassis at your pace and leisure.  Catch up on your tan on the beach, chat with the locals, or take a motor boat tour to the three main creeks of Cassis.  On Wednesday mornings, you can even enjoy a stroll through the open-air Provencal market.  Then, afterwards meet up with the group again and drive along the Route des Crêtes to see Cap Canaille, home to the highest sea cliff in Europe!  It’s one of the best things to do in Provence!
