Overview

The Doge's Palace is arguably the most important building in Venice as it was the seat of the Government for centuries. On your own private tour, as you walk through its lavish chambers, learn more about the Doge and his counsellors who made Venice a modern, liberal state. But the most interesting part of this tour is the visit to the area that was closed to everyone but a few trusted men of the republic – the chancellor’s office where secret documents were stored, the torture chambers and the prison where Casanova was incarcerated.

This is a popular tour and often sells out. Should this tour not be available on your chosen date we may have availability for the regular group version of the tour. Please check USEFUL DOWNLOADS.
