The Capilano Suspension Bridge is a bridge crossing the Capilano River in the District of North Vancouver. The bridge is 140 meters (460 ft) long and 70 meters (230 ft) above the river.

The bridge crosses towering evergreens tress, cedar-scented rainforest and footbridges offering views 100 feet above the forest floor. The Cliffwalk follows a sandstone cliff along Capilano River with a series of narrow bridges, stairs and platforms and anchor points in the cliff supporting the structure.

On the next stop, take a sky-ride to the magnificent Grouse Mountain and climb to a scenic mountaintop for breathtaking views. This North Shore Mountains, of the Pacific Ranges, is one of the most popular and beautiful destinations of Vancouver.

Full of mountain activities and panoramic views, you are also able to stroll beside the wildlife refuge that is home to orphaned Grizzly bears, owls and more.

Itinerary

You will be picked up from your hotel in a coach. An expert English speaking guide will accompany you and will share interesting anecdotes about the places you see.

Begin with traversing through the green urban oasis of Stanley Park, and across the historic Lions Gate Bridge to Vancouver’s North Shore.

At Capilano Suspension Bridge Park watch the picture-like old cedar forest and the Capilano River below your feet. Experience the beauty of natural surroundings at the Treetops Adventure, view First Nations artwork and feel the adrenaline rush as you take the cliff-walk.

Continue to the Capilano River Hatchery, where you will watch various species of salmon and trout and learn about the life cycle of these fish.

After that, visit the spectacular Grouse Mountain. Take the famous Grouse Mountain Skyride to enjoy panoramic views of the neighboring mountains. Explore the wildlife refuge and enjoy stunning views of the city and sea from the hilltop.
