The tour begins at the Segway Tours Training Facility. It is located at 1000 Bridgeway at the corner of Bridgway and Caladonia Streets; a very easy walk 2 blocks north of the Sausalito Ferry Terminal. You’ll take a 30 to 40 minute safety training before embarking on your Segway Sausalito Sightseeing Tour. The training provides first-time riders with the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to safely operate the Segway. You'll be guided through a simulated obstacle course of cones, turns, and an emergency stop to ensure a safe, enjoyable experience. The 30 to 45 minute training session includes:

• Introductory video
• Test ride and skills review
• Rider courtesy instruction
• Rules of the road

Your Segway Sausalito Sightseeing Tour features stunning views of the San Francisco and Oakland skyline. This exciting journey will take you past the following places:
• Historic waterfront and ferry landing: This little coastal town is rich in pioneer history as a shipyard and trading town. Before the Golden Gate Bridge was built all travelers heading north from San Francisco came through Sausalito.
• Dunphy Park: A picturesque green space located near the waterfront. This is a popular spot for weekend picnickers.
• Cass Marina: Cass Marina is best known for its sailing school and is a frequent docking point for sail boats.
• Galilee Harbor: Galilee Harbor is located at the foot of Napa Street in central Sausalito. It has been a residential area since the 1800s.
• Marinship: Marinship is the shipyard for over 100 WWII Liberty ships.
• The Bay Model: The Bay Model is a 1.5 acre hydraulic model of the San Francisco Bay and Delta. It is operated by the Army Corps of Engineers (closed on Sundays, Mondays and Major Holidays).
