Itinerary

A shuttle will pick you up from you hotel in San Francisco and convey you to an air-conditioned coach, where you will meet your driver-guide for this Evening in San Francisco tour.

You will begin the night with an authentic Chinese dinner in the lively heart of Chinatown.

After a satisfying meal you’ll embark on a guided walking tour of Chinatown. Dating from the 1850s, when Chinese immigrants flocked to the gold coast to work on the Transcontinental Railroad or strike it rich as prospectors, San Francisco’s Chinatown is the oldest in the United States. Walk past Chinese markets, specialty stores, schools, temples, and the Fortune Cookie Factory, which has foreshadowed fates since 1962.

Re-board your coach and drive into San Francisco proper, as you are whisked past the glittering lights of Fisherman’s Wharf, Telegraph Hill, Coit Tower, the Broadway Strip, and the historic Ferry Building.

Traverse the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge to Treasure Island, a man-made island created for the Golden Gate International Exposition in 1936, and marvel at the San Francisco skyline washed in golden lights.

Your coach will return you to your hotel at the close of the evening.
