Overview

The Brooklyn Bridge bike tour offers you an exciting way to explore downtown Manhattan.

The tour starts by exploring Lower Manhattan and you will see the Financial District, Battery Park and South Street Seaport among other locations. Many of these locations have been featured in blockbuster films and your guide will help you to recognize them.

The highlight of the tour is undoubtedly riding a bike over the world-famous Brooklyn Bridge. Get up close to this magnificent structure and enjoy the views over downtown Manhattan.

Itinerary

The Brooklyn Bridge Bike tour starts from designated meeting point.

Get your bike and helmet and set out for your bike tour of Downtown Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridge. A guide will accompany you on this tour.

You will cycle along the bank of the Hudson River in Hudson River Park to Battery Park City where the land has been reclaimed from the River.

In Battery Park you will see the Sphere which once stood at the center of the plaza of the World Trade Center a few blocks away.

The renowned Financial District is home to the New York Stock Exchange. You will see the World Financial Center for yourself, a complex occupied by American Express, Dow Jones & Company, Merrill Lynch and Deloitte & Touche. Surrounded by the imposing skyscrapers of the Financial District, you will also see the famous Statue of Liberty.

You will continue onto the historical district of the South Street Seaport where you will see some of the oldest architecture in Down Town Manhattan and you may even recognize it from the movie I Am Legend.

As you ride on towards Manhattan Bridge it may also feel very familiar to you as it featured in movies such as Independence Day, King Kong, The Lonely Guy and Once Upon a Time in America.

You will also see the grand Brooklyn Bridge, one of the oldest suspension bridges in the United States and an iconic part of the New York skyline.

There would be photo stops along the way. Water and a light snack will also be provided. The snack is usually a granola bar, crackers, etc. The snack is always healthy and never includes nuts.

Your tour will end where it started.

The tour may be cancelled if the operators have safety concerns such as high winds, thunderstorms, excessive heat or cold, or other severe conditions. In the event of such a cancellation, you may either reschedule or request a full refund.

Please bring your printed voucher and photo identification to the bike pick-up location on the day of your ride.
