The meeting point for your delightful Dinner and Jazz New Orleans Style experience is the tour operator’s Information Desk located in Jackson Brewery, directly inside the Toulouse Street entrance, (only 1 block from Jackson Square in the French Quarter). There is no hotel pick-up for this tour.
You will meet your tour guide and set off to enjoy yourself at the places New Orleans residents visit on a night out. This is a walking tour.
The evening begins with a three-course dinner at Tujague’s Restaurant. This establishment has been in business since 1856 and is the second oldest restaurant in the city. You will dine on excellent local dishes and will be served an appetizer, a main course (your choice of meat, seafood or vegetarian), dessert, tea and coffee.
You will have about an hour for dinner. Then your tour guide will lead you on a 15-minute stroll along world-famous Bourbon Street, home to many of the city’s bars and clubs, on your way to a local nightclub to enjoy some cool jazz.
In the club, you can enjoy a complimentary cocktail as you listen to the sounds of New Orleans. The evening winds down with another local tradition – Café Au Lait and Beignets (chicory coffee and French doughnuts).
The tour schedule allows 45 minutes in the club before returning you to the starting point but you could of course stay on in the club if you wish.
The tour ends back at Jackson Brewery. There is no hotel drop-off and you will need to make your own arrangements for getting back to your accommodation.
