You will be picked up from your hotel in Las Vegas and driven to the North Las Vegas Air Terminal to board your flight. There will be a taped narration (English / Spanish/ German/ French/ Japanese/ Mandarin) to give you more insights about the tour.
You will fly in a comfortable fixed-wing Dornier plane (giving better views than a helicopter), seeing stunning panoramas of the rugged Arizona landscape including Lake Mead. This vast man-made lake, 110 miles in length, is held in check by the impressive Hoover Dam.
You will land at the Grand Canyon West Rim. This unspoilt wilderness is part of the Native American Hualapai Reservation and affords great views of the Grand Canyon.
At the West Rim you will board a Helicopter and descend into the inner depths of the gorge. The astonishing Canyon was created over a period of 6 million years and nearly 2 billion years of Earth's history are recorded in its rock walls.
On the Canyon floor you’ll board a pontoon boat for an exhilarating ride down the Colorado River. You’ll see hidden and rarely visited parts of the Grand Canyon, and towering rock walls in a rainbow of different shades.
After your ride, ascend by your plane to the rim for a coach tour of places of interest around the West Rim and Native American Hualapai Reservation. Apart from the stunning views from several vantage points, your trip could include the authentic Indian Village and the Hualapai Ranch, a Western theme town with horseback and wagon rides.
By now you’re sure to be hungry! Tuck into a lunch before boarding your motor coach to return to town.
You also have the option of combining this tour with the Grand Canyon Skywalk.
Skywalk is a ingeniously constructed plexiglass walkway that extends out into space from the Canyon edge. With nothing but glass under your feet, it's like walking on 'air' 4,000 feet above the Canyon floor and the Colorado River. It is an extraordinary sensation with 360 degree, fantastic views.
At the end of your exciting adventure you will be dropped back at your hotel in Las Vegas.
