You will be picked up from your hotel in Las Vegas for this Grand Canyon Tour. Board your luxury air-conditioned motor coach and depart for the Grand Canyon South Rim, with your driver providing an expert English narration.
On the way you will take a splendid view of Hoover Dam across the Colorado River. When it was built (1935), it was the largest dam in the world and, although long since surpassed, it is still a marvel of engineering. Behind it is Lake Mead, 110 miles long and the largest man-made lake and reservoir in the US.
Another short stop at Kingman Arizona before arriving at the village of Tusayan, outside the Grand Canyon National park. Here, you will have time for a light meal.
After your meal, the total time taken to reach the Grand Canyon is around 5 hours.
On reaching the Grand Canyon your coach will tour the National Park including the best viewpoints and places of interest. You will have around 3 hours in the Grand Canyon National Park. The park encompasses more than 1,200,000 acres, and is 10 miles wide in many sections. The 6 million year old Grand Canyon is one mile deep and over 275 miles long.
