Your Grand Canyon helicopter tour will take you over Las Vegas, past Hoover Dam and Lake Mead to the Grand Canyon. At the Grand Canyon you will descend below the rim and take a thrilling journey through the heart of the Canyon. Helicopter flights are the best way to see the Canyon and the views afforded on this flight will take your breath away.

After around 45 minutes you will start your return journey to Las Vegas, the last leg of your flight will take you directly over the Las Vegas strip.

Itinerary

You will be picked up at your hotel in Vegas in an air-conditioned vehicle for your Grand Canyon Helicopter Tour. This flight (approx. 45 minutes each way) will take place on a Chariot of Fire helicopter, narrated by your English speaking pilot.

Within the amazing Chariot of Fire helicopter you’ll see the most amazing views of the rugged Nevada landscape. The flight begins with a decent into the Grand Canyon. Imagine how a golden eagle must feel as you descend into the depths of the Grand Canyon and soar over the Colorado River. As you drop below the rim, you’ll pass through millions of years of geological time.

On the way back to Las Vegas you will catch a glimpse of many other Nevada sights:

• Hoover Dam: When Hoover Dam was completed in 1935, it was both the world's largest electric power producing facility and the world's largest concrete structure. You’ll see panoramic views of this massive concrete spectacle.

• Lake Mead: Lake Mead is the largest man-made lake in the United States. Many visit this pretty blue oasis for swimming, boating and sunbathing.

• Iceberg Canyon: Within Lake Powel is the Iceberg Canyon. In these beautiful, clear canyon waters the amazing rock forms burst from the surface resembling terracotta desert icebergs.

• Valley of Fire: Valley of Fire is Nevada's oldest State Park. Flying above, keep your eyes peeled for Elephant Rock, a giant natural rock formation that closely resembles an elephant.

• Bowl of Fire: Bowl of Fire is a fascinating geological formation. It is a large red crater that shows clearly against the stark Nevada landscape.

The last leg of your tour is a return flight back to Las Vegas in the Chariot of Fire helicopter. Ending the tour in style the final part of the tour will be a helicopter flight over the Las Vegas strip.

You will be dropped off at your hotel at the end of the tour.
