Your exciting Bryce and Zion Safari Tour takes you to two of the most spectacular National Parks in the area around Las Vegas. You will be picked up from your Las Vegas hotel in a luxury air-conditioned vehicle by your English-speaking driver/ guide.
The journey to Bryce Canyon takes approximately 4.5 hours and there will be many scenic photo-stops along the way. Bryce Canyon is not actually a canyon, but a giant natural amphitheater created by erosion. Bryce is distinctive due to its extraordinary geological structures called 'hoodoos', formed from wind, water and ice erosion. They appear in a fantastic array of delightful shapes resembling fairytale castles, pinnacles, spires and battlements and in a rainbow of red, orange and white colors.
'Wall Street', 'Fairyland Canyon' and Queen's Garden' are some of the names given to the hoodoos here.
You will stop for a deli-style picnic lunch and spend approximately two hours in the park before reluctantly leaving Bryce for the wonders of Zion. The extraordinary formations continue throughout the journey. At Bryce you first arrive at the rim of the amphitheater and look down on the landforms. But at Zion you arrive at the bottom of the canyon and gaze up at overpowering formations like 'The Watchman' and the 'West Temple'. They will make you feel very small.
As well as its canyons, pinnacles and scenic waterfalls, Zion boasts the impressive Kolob Arch, which, at a span of 310 feet, is the largest natural arch in the world.
You will have another two hours to enjoy the wonders of Zion before starting on the 2.5 hour drive back to Las Vegas.
At the end of your, you will be dropped back at your hotel in Las Vegas.
