Itinerary

On this private tour your guide will meet you at your hotel at 0930h. You will travel to Greenwich by public transport and the remainder of the tour will be carried out on foot. (The itinerary can be adapted and stops for refreshments and shopping can be made based on your requirements).

Explore Greenwich, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its unique atmosphere, fascinating history and some of London's most beautiful buildings. Hear the stories behind this world-renowned maritime site. If you wish you can visit the the National Maritime Museum and some of the other grand buildings of Greenwich such as the stunning Painted Hall.

Be sure to take a walk in the beautiful Greenwich Park. The park is on a hill and if you climb to the top you are offered one of the best views of the London skyline.

Visit the Royal Observatory where you can stand astride the Greenwich Meridian with one foot in the East and one in the West. Hear about the famous competition to measure longitude and see the winning clock that revolutionized naval navigation.

At the end point of the tour (flexible based on what you decide to see) your guide will advise you the best route home by public transport. If you wish you can take the London Riverboat service which will take you all the way to Central London. The tour ends at around 1730h.
