This tour of London with a private Blue Badge Guide takes you to explore Chelsea and Kensington, which are two of the most exclusive and fashionable areas of London.

Discover the charms of Chelsea, one of London's most exclusive areas, and once described as a village of palaces. See the museums in Kensington, browse through the shops at Knightsbridge and cherish the time spent in discovering the fashionable side of the city of London.

Itinerary

On this private tour your guide will meet you at your hotel at 0930h. You will travel to Chelsea by London Underground and the remainder of the tour will be carried out on foot. (The itinerary can be adapted and stops for refreshments and shopping can be made based on your requirements).

Stroll around fashionable Chelsea and hear the stories of the many famous, and infamous, people who have lived here. See famous buildings such as The Royal Hospital and even part of the Berlin Wall.

You can opt for a visit to Thomas Carlyle’s atmospheric home.

Visit Kensington, famous for its museums, and Knightsbridge famous for its shops. You can also stroll around the little visited back streets full of interesting stories, surprising views and even a haunted pub.

This tour also includes an optional visit to a “Lord Leighton’s House”. A former artist’s home with a stunning Arab inspired hall and a beautiful secret garden

At the end point of the tour (flexible based on what you decide to see) your guide will escort you to the nearest underground station and ensure you know how to get back to your hotel. The tour ends at 1730h.
