The tour starts from Queensway tube Station which is on the Central Line. Here you will be met by your English-speaking guide and it is just a short walk to collect your bike and helmet. Some of the highlights of your London Cycling Tour are:
Hyde Park: One of London’s largest and most popular open spaces, here you will find the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain and Speakers Corner.
Buckingham Palace: The home of the Royal Family for 170 years.
Trafalgar Square: At the centre of the Trafalgar Square, you will come across a statue of Lord Nelson who lost his life in the Battle of Trafalgar, defeating a combined Spanish and French force. Today, the square is home to events, ceremonies, festivals and much more.
Big Ben: Keeping debatably accurate time, Big Ben overlooks Westminster Bridge and the Houses of Parliament.
Houses of Parliament: The seat of British Government, the Houses of Parliament combine the House of Lords and the House of Commons.
You will also pass Westminster Abbey, St. James Park, the Cabinet War Rooms, Kensington Palace and Park, Green Park, Albert Memorial, Princess Diana’s Memorial among others. Practically all of the tour takes place on cycle paths, pavements and in the Royal Parks.
Along the way the tour will stop at a traditional British pub where you can enjoy a traditional lunch such as bangers and mash or fish and chips.
After a memorable bike tour of London, return to the original starting point.
