Itinerary

You will depart from Glasgow in a Mercedes minicoach from Buchanan Bus Station, Killermont Street, G2 3NW (Tours will depart from a stance between Stances 23 to 32). You will cross the Renfrewshire Hills towards south into Ayrshire with small towns and villages falling on the way.

Your first stop will be Culzean Country Park, one of Scotland’s popular tourist attractions. The park has lush woodlands, landscaped gardens, and rugged coastline, and an 18th century castle which is a great country house with fine furniture and beautiful Robert Adam architecture. Enjoy leisure time at the park visiting the castle or walking on the woodlands (payable on arrival). You can also sit on the edge of the cliff overlooking the Firth of Clyde and enjoy the stunning views of the garden.

Next, you will drive through the tiny fishing village of Dunure to the village of Alloway, which has been the subject of several poems by Scotland’s national poet, Robert Burns. You will see the places mentioned referred in Burns’ famous poems such as the Auld Kirk Alloway and Banks and Braes o’ Bonnie Doon.

You will also visit Robert Burns Museum and learn about the poet’s upbringing and his poetry. During the course of the tour, enjoy a riverside walk or explore the ruins of Alloway Old Kirk and walk over the Auld Bridge, also known as Brig O' Doon.

After spending some quality time at Ayrshire, you will head back to Glasgow.
