You will be picked up from your hotel in Dubai, Sharjah or Ajman and taken in an air conditioned coach for your Heritage Tour of the East Coast.
Make yourself comfortable and your guide (speaking the language of your preference: English or German) will tell you some interesting stories about your surroundings.
On your way to the East Coast, you will drive through the agricultural areas of Al Dhaid, in Sharjah. From here the terrain changes from a colorful desert landscape to spectacular mountain scenery.
Stop to take photos at a dramatic beauty spot in the canyon in the Hajjar mountains before descending to the coast.
The coast is scattered with small fishing villages, and from the old village of Dibba you will see a stunning view across the Indian Ocean.
You will have a chance to sample some of those Middle Eastern delicacies on your two-hour stop for a delicious Arabian buffet lunch (payble direct). Enjoy some leisure time to have a swim and do some snorkeling.
Continuing along the coastline you will arrive at the Al Bidya Mosque. Built in the 15th century, it is the oldest mosque in the country.
Your tour will bring you to the port town of Khor Fakkan, a popular tourist spot surrounded by huge mountains and attractive beaches in the Emirate of Fujairah.
Your visit to Fujairah also takes you past the ruins of the mountain dwellers and onto the 300-year old Fort of Fujairah. You are sure to want to stop for photographs of the attractive Iron Age fort perched on a hill.
Enjoy the chance of seeing an oasis for yourself and another fine example of a desert fortress at Bithnah, before returning to Dubai.
In Dubai, you will stop at the Friday Market where you may like to pick up some attractive pottery and Arabian carpets.
At the end of your tour you will be dropped back at your hotel in Dubai, Sharjah or Ajman.
