In a region where wealth is synonymous with oil, it may come as a surprise that Dubai Emirate’s cash flows from tourism and its economic free zone. Dubai city has numerous state of the art buildings, such as the Burj Al Arab and the Emirate Towers that make Dubai a modern marvel, which many come to admire. Palm Jumeirah, the world’s largest man made island shaped like a palm, is also a great attraction. Visitors have the option of taking a desert safari, or wadi bashing - examining and driving around dry stream beds.
