|
Venture into the famous Kruger National Park, the largest game reserve in South Africa, for an early morning 'Open Vehicle' Safari. One of the best wildlife reserves in the world, the Kruger National Park is spread across 2 million hectares and stretches over 350 kilometres from north to south. Wildlife galore, excellent bird watching opportunities and vast savannah stretching into the horizon have made this reserve extremely popular. The park is also part of the Kruger to Canyons Biosphere, an area designated by UNESCO as an International Man and Biosphere Reserve (the "Biosphere"). See more than 2000 species of plants, 517 species of birds,and over 147 species of mammals, including the famous Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes). The abundant fauna and flora guarantees a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in the world - an experience worth getting up for early in the morning!
