Visions' Luxury Flying Safari |
Lose yourself in the land of the wild and the untamed-this Namibian trip will be thrilling!
| Overview | |
Take a flying expedition to Namibia and fulfil all your fantasies of spending a perfect vacation amidst beauty! Fly to Onguma, located on the eastern outskirts of Etosha National Park. This 20,000 hectare Onguma Reserve is an expanse of savannah, bushveld, omuramba and dry pan. With a variety of wild animals and birds to explore, you won’t be left with any idle time. Venture into the depths of Etosha and you will come across a vast saltpan with grass and thorn savannah, Mopane bushland and a dry forest. Etosha, also called the ‘Great White Place’ due to its large dusty depression of salt and clay, has permanent springs that attract many animals. Continuing to Twyfelfontein in Damaraland nestled between Ugab and Huab Rivers, you get a chance to soak up some sun. At an extra cost, you can fly from Onguma to Ruacana in the Kunene region. Meet the Himba people and learn of their culture and lifestyle. Head towards Epupa Falls and you can enjoy sundowners whilst sitting on granite boulders. Explore the surrounds of Twyfelfontein's reserve. Landing at Swakopmund, you get a chance to explore this town. Heading towards the largest conservation area in Namibia, the NamibRand Nature Reserve, your flight takes you over the scenic Sandwich Harbour. Crossing a sea of sand dunes you fly over the world’s highest dunes in Sossusvlei and continue to Wolwedans. Set off on a safari into the 180,000 hectares of NamibRand Nature Reserve. Cross rugged mountains, patches of savannahs, dunes and the massive clay pan. Spend your last day at leisure, go hot air ballooning or just stroll around the area. Alternatively, at an extra cost, you can also fly from Wolwedans to the Fish River Canyon and Luderitz. Flying back from the pristine landscapes of Namibia you will carry memories that will last forever!
