You will be transported back in time as you wander around the ‘puuc’ architecture, mosaics and facades and on to the Pyramids of the Magician. Dwell on this architectural marvel as you take a scenic drive past forests and silent rivers to Kabah, meaning ‘strong hand’ in the Mayan language. The most famous structure at Kabah is the ‘Palace of the Masks’, the facade of which is decorated with hundreds of stone masks of the long-nosed rain god, Chac-Mool.
