Walter Peak High Country Farm, on the western shores of beautiful Lake Wakatipu, provides visitors with the opportunity to relax and experience New Zealand high country life. The journey to reach this Kiwi farm is equally interesting - on board the TSS Earnslaw, a coal-fired vintage steamship. Stroll through the beautifully landscaped gardens of the historic Colonel's Homestead, watch sheep shearing demonstrations (you can even participate in one!), and see sheep dogs working stock. The Farm Excursion includes a morning or afternoon tea. Other options available are a barbecue lunch, a guided horse trek across the stunning countryside or evening dining in the homestead.
