Imposing landscape and a single lane dirt track will give you a flavor of Argentina’s rugged terrain. Begin the tour from Bariloche, the chocolate capital of the country and travel on the scenic National Route 258 along the sparkling waters of Gutierrez Lake, across Pilmaiquen River and Melgarejo brook. The road then traverses the ‘seven color’ Lake Mascardi surrounded by spectacular mountains that will leave you awestruck. Take the gravel track leading to the majestic Tronador Hill. A journey through the dense Valdivian forest will lead you to the Ventisquero Negro or ‘Black Glacier’ which was formed from the falling ice of the ‘thundering’ Mount Tronador. Tuck into a sumptuous local lunch at the panoramic dining room of Pampa Linda lodge overlooking Mount Tronador and its glaciers. As the tour winds to an end at the flanks of the volcanic Tronador Hill, you will experience a sense of complete peace.
