Tuck into succulent steaks and choose from a wide range of barbecue meat at the Carnivore Restaurant. A short drive from Nairobi, Kenya’s capital city, the Carnivore restaurant is just the place for meat lovers. The meat is roasted over a charcoal pit on traditional Maasai swords in this open air restaurant which makes for a visually arresting sight itself. Friendly waiters then bring the meat to you on the sword and carve out unlimited amounts on your plate. A variety of salads, sauces and side dishes make a great accompaniment to the meat feast that includes game like ostrich and a real speciality, crocodile. If you’re not a meat eater, you can choose from some delicious vegetarian dishes that the restaurant offers. A real treat for the palette, the Carnivore restaurant is one place you wouldn’t want to miss!
