Jerez is home to “sherry” the famous fortified wine, the Royal Andalusia School of Equestrian Art (a riding school comparable to the world-famous Spanish Riding School in Vienna, Austria) and is the birthplace of the famous flamenco. Despite the demands of the modern world and the need to cater to a host of visitors, the city of Jerez has managed to retain its beauty and charm and preserve the reminders of its historical past.
