Situated only 45 minutes from Durban, the reserve is home to more than 300 species of birds, rhinos, zebras, hippos, giraffe, wildebeest and almost 20 species of antelope. Spread over 5000 acres, this expanse of African savannah is best explored in open safari jeeps. Keep your cameras handy as you go deep into the reserve past a number of wild animals. See playful hippopotamuses in the water, giraffes munching on the leafy trees, rhinos, herds of zebras and varieties of antelopes and other wild animals in their natural habitat.
