Take a tour of South Africa’s Western Cape and Eastern Cape on this family excursion. Oudtshoorn, ostrich capital of South Africa, will give you an opportunity to come up close with these tall flightless birds at a farm. Take a safari tour into Knysna, and see unusual geological formations like the ‘Heads’, two sandstone cliffs protecting the mouth of the lagoon from either side. Visit its local markets and pick up some locally made art and craft goods. Travel past the horse-shoe shaped Plettenberg Bay, to the Tsitsikamma National Park and see cliffs, narrow isolated beaches and thick forests.
