Set amongst lush pine forest at the banks of river Ljøra and surrounded by gently rounded mountains, the Villmark Lodge is a true romantic hideaway. Your 8 days at the Villmark Husky Farm includes a three day basic instruction course in dog sledding. Learn the essentials of handling the dogs and the sled, harnessing and taking care of your assigned dogs and building a good rapport with your team. Drive your own sled through the breathtaking scenery of winter Norway. Pass through deep forests, cross frozen lakes and rivers, and discover the stunning scenery of wild mountains, remote and endless highland plains. At the end of the week, you will be rewarded with a ‘musher certificate’. This will truly be an experience of a lifetime!
