St. Ignatius Cathedral or Xujiahui Cathedral is a 90-year old Roman Catholic cathedral and the largest Catholic Church, located in Shanghai. Its vast interior of altars, stone columns, and Gothic ceilings are a fascinating evidence of European influence.

The famous Jade Buddha Temple is one of the few remaining Buddhist temples in Shanghai and now houses a 2 metre-high white jade Buddha statue.

The Old City of Shanghai is one of China’s premier sights, still retaining its well-preserved old look.
