Enter a world of glistening snow and frozen forests and meet the people, the Sami or Laplanders, who live there. When you cross the Arctic Circle you will participate in a special Sami ceremony and receive a diploma as a memento. Meet the gentle reindeer on which the local economy depends and have a chance to drive a reindeer sleigh after coaching from an expert. When you pass your reindeer driving test, you will be issued with an international reindeer licence. When you have mastered the reindeer sleigh, try its modern equivalent - the snowmobile. Adults and children can try the exhilarating thrill of driving snowmobiles (skidoos) across the crisp white landscape.
