Serengeti Safari and Ngorongoro Crater Tour-7 Days/6 Nights |
Get some great photographs of wildlife as you visit the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater
| Overview | |
If you are a photography enthusiast, visit Tanzania and spot a variety of wildlife. Begin the tour from the 8300 square kilometres Ngorongoro conservation area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and drive to the 20 kilometres wide Ngorongoro crater, whose thick forests, grasslands and wetlands provides the perfect setting for game spotting and photography. If you’re lucky, you could spot predators like lions, cheetahs and leopards. Visit the 3100 metre high Olmoti crater and get some great photographs of wildlife and birds. On your way to the world famous 14,763 square kilometres Serengeti National Park, stop at the 100 metre high and 50 kilometres long Ol Duvai Gorge where the 1.8 million year old skull known as Australopithecus boisei was discovered in 1959. The Serengeti reserve encompasses the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the Maswa Game Reserve and Masai Mara in Kenya up to Lake Victoria in the Western Corridor. The sheer variety of animals in this African reserve has no comparison. From wildebeest, lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, gazelles, giraffes and elands to a variety of birds, this reserve is paradise for wildlife and nature photographers. Stay at Serengeti Luxury Mobile Camp for a combination of the traditional safari style and luxury accommodation. Offering cosy beds, splendid views, exquisite cuisines and above all the advantage of mobility, this camp gives you the choice to stay in any remote region of the reserve. A treat for wildlife and nature photographers and a great family getaway, this holiday to Tanzania’s most popular safari parks will be unforgettable!
