Take an adventure trip into the wilds of Africa as you go on game spotting safaris and explore northern Tanzania’s Arusha Mountain Village, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro conservation area. Set out for Serena Mountain Village in Arusha, located at the foothills of the 1300 metre high Meru Mountain and explore Tanzania’s wilderness. Visit the 330 square kilometres Lake Manyara National Park in the Great Rift Valley. Don’t forget your binoculars for bird watching, as this 230 square kilometres soda lake is the perfect spot to watch a variety of birds. This park is also renowned for itshippopotamuses and tree-climbing lions. Drive down to the world famous Serengeti National Park and enjoy game spotting safaris. The reserve encompasses the Ngorongoro conservation area, the Maswa Game Reserve, Kenya’s Masai Mara up to Lake Victoria. The sheer variety of African wildlife in this reserve has no comparison. From wildebeest, lions, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, gazelles, giraffes and elands to a large variety of bird life, this reserve is an animal lover’s paradise! Get a bird’s eye view of the reserve as you take an early morning hot air balloon ride (option) over the treeless expanse of Serengeti. Alternatively, take a game spotting drive and spot Tanzania’s diverse wildlife in their natural habitat. 200 kilometres from Serengeti lies the 8300 square kilometres Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Drive up to its 20 kilometres wide Ngorongoro crater that has a thick forested area, grasslands and wetlands and provides a perfect setting for game spotting. Visit the Ol Duvai Gorge (100 metres high, 50 kilometres long) and see the 1.8 million year old skull known as Australopithecus boisei that was discovered at Ol Duvai Gorge in 1959.An adventure of a lifetime, this safari trip will let you appreciate Tanzania’s stunning landscape and variety of wildlife.
