If you are interested in the Modernist movement, love nature and want to try some excellent Catalan gastronomy, this tour is your cup of tea! Take a short train ride to a very special mountain village which not only lies in beautiful surroundings but also has successfully managed to fuse tradition with Modernism. The village is a part of the Bergueda region with a very rich artistic and cultural heritage, and hosts the famous sheepdog competition. Stroll along cobbled streets, sample some traditional local produce, see works of Romanesque art and admire one of Catalonia’s natural wonders - the source of Llobregat river. Explore the picturesque Artigas Gardens designed by Antonio Gaudi and visit the abandoned cement factory with fascinating Modernist industrial architecture.
