Architectural ‘jewels’ such as Catedral Metropolitana, the antique post office and the National Historical Museum can be explored as you walk around the Plaza de Armas. Satiate your gluttony at the seafood hub of Santiago, Mercado Central. The Donde Augusto restaurant not only serves you delectable seafood delicacies but also a vivacious ambiance swarming with pure Chilean music. Driving into the district of Lastarria you can discover unexpected treasures in the small antique shops, bookstores and in the art of the local artists in the region.
