Parks & Peaks

Parks & Peaks ( 3 Nights Safari Ex- Mombasa)

Travel across the dramatic landscape of Kenya and you will see a variety of wildlife on this safari

Overview
Explore the dramatically different landscape of Kenya as you visit Tsavo West National Park, Amboseli National Park and the Taita Hills on this wildlife safari adventure. Leave Mombasa and travel to the 9000 square kilometres Tsavo West National Park. An afternoon game-spotting safari will take you past swamps, natural springs, rocky peaks and extinct volcanic cones. You’ll have to keep a sharp eye out for hippos, zebras and elephants that are a little hard to spot because of the dense vegetation. Head towards Mzima Springs that produces 93 million gallons of fresh water and visit the main attraction- hippos and crocodiles at the water pool. In the evening, cool off at Ngulia Safari Lodge. Continue on to Amboseli National Park in Southern Kenya. Set against the backdrop of the snow-capped 5895 metre high Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli National Park is a sight to behold. Spot buffaloes, lions, gazelles, warthogs, zebras and Masai giraffes that are home to this region. The sight of wild elephants walking along, with Mt Kilimanjaro in the background is also something you will not want to miss. In the evening, relax at Ol Tukai Lodge and watch the sun setting over Mt Kilimanjaro. The next day, set out for the fertile area and scrub forests of the 100 square kilometre Taita Hills. Explore the region’s abundant wildlife in this private game sanctuary and spend the night at the Salt Lick Lodge. As you travel back to Mombasa, you will appreciate the varied landscape and abundant wildlife of Kenya, the African microcosm!
