Great Barrier reef - 3 day diving and sailing cruise from cairns |
See the Great Barrier Reef at its brilliant best in an exciting range of day and night dives
| Overview | |
Explore the marine extravaganza of The Great Barrier Reef on this live-aboard dive trip especially for divers and snorkellers. From four exclusive dive sites take in a stunning ecosystem that supports the greatest concentration of life on this planet including 1500 species of fish, 350 different corals, 4,000 species of molluscs and 10,000 species of sponges. The Great Barrier Reef is generally not a deep dive destination. You will be diving to an average depth range of 10 - 25 meters (30-80 feet). As coral relies on sunlight for growth, some of the best snorkeling and diving can be done in shallow areas around the reef top. Water temperatures range from 22° to 28° Celsius (75° - 85° F) allowing comfortable diving all year round. This cruise gives you the opportunity to dive into the clear blue waters 11 times, including twice at night!
