This tour will take you to the famous Lamington National Park in South East Queensland which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy the bush walks through lush rainforest and discover pristine waterfalls. The Park is home to rugged mountains, tumbling waterfalls, rainforest and picturesque creeks and a variety of wildlife. You could spot Coxen’s fig-parrot, Eastern bristlebird, Albert's Lyrebird, Richmond birdwing butterfly and plants such as the Ravine and Blotched Sarchochilus orchids. Many of Lamington's plants are found nowhere else on earth. On this tour you will be staying at the O'Reilly's Rainforest Guesthouse. The O’Reilly family have been welcoming people into their mountain home for over 85 years. Caring for their guests is a way of life that hasn’t changed since those early days. Experienced guides at the resort take you spotlighting by night and wine tasting at O'Reilly's award winning vineyard, Canungra Valley Winery during the day. This tour is a great holiday in the rainforest.
