3 Day Jog Falls - Tour from Bangalore

Two nights Jog falls-ex BLR

Explore Shimoga near Bangalore and visit one of Asia’s highest waterfalls

Attractions and things to do - 3 Day Jog Falls - Tour from Bangalore

Witness the Sharavati River’s spectacular drop of 253 metres in four distinct cascades – locally known as Raja (king), Rani (queen), Rover, and Rocket – to create one of the highest plunge waterfalls in Asia. The Jog Falls, as they are known, are one of Asia’s highest waterfalls and a major tourist attraction in the Shimoga district of Karnataka. Although a beautiful sight at any time of the year, the falls look the best during the monsoons (July to December) with arching rainbows colouring the mist. When the sluice gates of the upstream Linganamakki Dam that control the flow of River Sharavati are closed, it is worth taking a walk right down to the bottom of the gorge.

Don’t miss this chance to see this magnificent waterfall while on a tour to South India.
