Sightings of elk, mule deer, moose, bighorn sheep, coyotes, black bears, cougars are common in the park. Smaller creatures such as the tufted-eared Abert's squirrel, iridescent broad-tailed hummingbird, and squeaking pika also have habitats in these parts. In Rocky Mountain National Park, it isn’t such a rarity to share the moments of the passing day with the inhabitants of the forest.
