Trek to the summit of South- East Asia’s tallest mountain on this thrilling two-day Borneo adventure. You will reach the base of Mount Kinabalu, standing tall at 4095.2 meters (13,435.7ft), after driving through the picturesque Crocker Range. Around the foot of the mountain is the glorious Kinabalu National Park, blessed with a profusion of fascinating tropical plants and animals. Climb the well-kept Summit Trial through the changing forest scene. See trees festooned with ferns and orchids, wild begonias, insectivorous pitcher plants and a variety of forest animals and birds. Frequent shelters along the path provide welcome resting places. Stay the night at a rest-house and rise early for your assault on the summit. On a clear morning you will be treated to the glorious sight of the sun rising on the forest paradise of the National Park. Begin your descent before the mist rolls in and enjoy a well-deserved breakfast back at the rest house. You can take this tour as part of a larger group or opt for a private tour for a more personal experience
