Morning Tour to the Taj Mahal
See the magnificent Taj Mahal change colours as the day progresses
| Attractions and things to do - Morning Tour to the Taj Mahal | |
The Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan as the mausoleum for his favourite queen Mumtaz Mahal. Constructed entirely out of white marble, it is an architectural masterpiece with four minarets, beautiful inlay work and marble screens. Often described as a teardrop on the cheek of time, it is also one of the most famous historical landmarks of India and reflects the grandeur and wealth of the Mughal empire. In the morning, the magnificence of the building is enhanced by the soft light which makes it a memorable sight!
