The Midlands are located between the Sunshine Coast and the Drakensberg Mountains. The area is one of immense scenic beauty, characterised by picturesque villages, waterfalls, lakes, game reserves and historical buildings. The Midlands are also reminiscent of the English Midlands, with many oak trees, grassy dales, smoking chimneys and micro-breweries. The Midlands Meander is a unique mix of more than 160 places to eat, drink, sleep, shop, play and generally have fun.
