The Meeting of the Waters is one of the most famous natural attractions in Manaus, where the black waters of the Negro River meet the muddy brown waters of the Solimoes River, flowing side by side without mixing for several kilometres. Merging together further on, they form the mighty Amazonas River. At the Meeting of the Waters, the two rivers can be seen distinctly divided by their colours, making for an absolutely riveting sight, one that is not to be missed.
