The best way to get to know the most beautiful parts of the Madeira Island is to take this tour and explore its rare flora and birdlife. Enjoy a scenic drive to the west of the island, a site where long ago land slid from the cliff, forming a small terrace over the sea. Sit by the fresh water pond just next to the sea and leisurely observe endemic birds such as Berthelot’s Pipit, Rock Sparrows and Spectacled Warbler among others. Head north to a valley surrounded by majestic mountains covered by Laurel Forest, and bird songs in the air. Pause at a higher altitude where the centenary Laurel trees seem to be part of an enchanted wood from a fairy tale. This tour is truly a great way to be one with nature and observe some rare flowers and birds!
