Enjoy a wildlife safari in Port Elizabeth on this tour of South Africa. Be spoilt for choice as this tour offers four options for private game reserves in the Eastern Cape. All the reserves offer exciting opportunities to watch some of the Big Five and a variety of other animals and birds. Spread over 6000-hectares, the Kariega Game Reserve offers a mix of riverine forest, bushveld and grassland eco systems in which to explore wildlife. The Lalibela Game Reserve stretches across 7500 hectares and encompasses five eco systems. It also has three lodges, one of which offers special programmes for children. A good choice if you are looking for family safari tours. The Shamwari Game Reserve offers a safari experience with a dash of colonial flavour. This reserve covers five eco systems and is home to numerous birds, animals and reptiles. Its five star ‘Long Lee Manor’ colonial style lodge (built in 1910) will transport you to a bygone era. The Nguni River Lodge in this reserve is located high on a ridge and offers stunning views of the reserve and Zuurberg mountain range. Take this wildlife safari in Port Elizabeth and come back with a treasure-house of memories.
