Wildlife Tour to Kanha and Bandhavgarh National Parks
Spot the Royal Bengal Tiger as you visit India’s famous national parks in Kanha and Bandhavgarh
| Attractions and things to do - Wildlife Tour to Kanha and Bandhavgarh National Parks | |
This tour will take you to two of India’s most famous wildlife sanctuaries and give you the opportunity to see the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger. The Kanha National Park has lush sal and bamboo forests, grassy meadows and deep ravines, reminiscent of Rudyard Kipling’s 'Jungle Book' which was set in one of the national parks of Madhya Pradesh. True to the picture that is conjured up by that description, the Park is a treasure trove of flora and fauna. Alert barasingha deer, noisy monkeys, stealthy leopards and the mighty tiger – they are all there in the Kanha National Park! The Bandhavgarh National Park is home to the largest population of tigers in the world. The national animal of India, the Royal Bengal Tiger that lives in the park is protected under the Government of India funded Project Tiger. This fragile ecology also supports nilgai, wild boar, jackals, porcupines and many species of birds. This tour is a not-to-be-missed for nature lovers and an excellent introduction to India’s amazing wildlife and natural beauty for others.
