Kutná Hora Sightseeing and Traditional Czech Lunch |
Tour of Kutná Hora and experience two sides of this lovely town – the beautiful and the macabre
| Overview | |
Kutná Hora owes its origin, in the 13th century, to the discovery of silver ore in the region. The city once rivalled Prague and London for size and importance and competed with these two cities economically, politically and culturally. The legacy of that time can be seen in the many beautiful and important buildings in the area. The Gothic and Baroque architecturally styles are still visible and a joy for all visitors. UNESCO has declared the town a Heritage Site.
